Commercial Manager

The role

As OES continues to pursue exciting growth opportunities, an important new role of Commercial Manager has been created in the Partnerships (Business Development) team. Reporting to the Executive Director of Partnerships, APAC, this role will promote OES’ services to potential clients and drive the commercial discussions, business case development and negotiations. This role will have significant exposure to senior external stakeholders, as well as the broader OES Executive team.

This role is suited to someone with a strong commercial background, with proven experience in running complex negotiations and driving opportunities to a successful close. The right person will have the gravitas to represent OES, coupled with strong commercial acumen and the ability to work with internal stakeholders to help build and assess complex financial business cases.

 About you:

  • Previous experience within a commercially focused role, including responsibility for commercial negotiations is essential
  • Proven ability to review financial information, build coherent business cases and to effectively communicate that information to senior stakeholders
  • Experience influencing senior external stakeholders
  • A minimum Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent qualification
