Customer Analyst

The role

As a Customer Analyst you will use analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of various initiatives that are designed to improve student retention rates.

The focus of this role is performing statistical and data based analysis, which requires strong technical skills, primarily in SQL, but experience in other analytical tools and languages is advantageous. Your work will be critical to informing and influencing key strategic decisions across the business so it is important that you are able to communicate your results in a meaningful way.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in a statistical  / analytics based discipline
  • 1 years + analytical experience within a campaign, marketing or customer focused role.
  • Expert data analysis and statistical analysis. High proficiency in SQL essential. Python, R or SAS desirable
  • Exposure to BI tools, Tableau preferred
  • Ability to access data stored in databases and interrogate it efficiently
  • Strong numeracy, writing and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail but also able to present information at a strategic level.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and articulate technical issues to non-technical audiences

This role is an initial 12 month contract.
