Graphic Designer (0.8 FTE)

The role

The part time (0.8 FTE, 4 days per week) Graphic Designer is responsible the design and development of artworks and visual elements in the learning materials created by the Learning Design team. This includes the development of multimedia assets for interactive development, purpose-built artworks, images to be aligned to style and templates for use by Learning Design team members to promote visual consistency throughout OES created learning materials.

This role will work with internal OES learning specialists, interactive developers, learning design staff, technical staff, graphic designers, academic partners, and external suppliers to ensure that graphic design at OES represents a standard of quality and innovation reflecting current industry norms and trends, and contributing meaningfully to OES initiatives intended to reimagine online learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design artworks, templates and interactive packages for OES learning products
  • Develop and strengthen guidelines in the creation of images, interactives and rich-media experiences that engage OES partners and students in the online environment.
  • Creating customised visual experiences using a range of industry recognised pedagogy models
  • Working with the Quality and Editorial team to audit and assess all internally built OES graphic content to ensure consistency within brand guidelines

Must have’s

  • 3+ years experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Relevant qualification in multimedia/ graphic design
  • Experience in an Education environment highly regarded
