Student Community Platform Coordinator

About the role

This role is part time (0.8 FTE), and an initial 8 month contract with view to extension. The Student Community Coordinator will be primarily responsible for growing and maintaining student’s participation and engagement in the online student community.

Day to day, this person will be engaging in and prompting discussions between students, being a first point of contact for the online student community. This person will also be responsible for dealing with situations that are negative or have a potential for conflict and escalate any incidents to appropriate channels.

About you

This role will suit someone who has a keen interest in the Student experience, and is savvy with social media platforms. This is the ideal entry role for those with studies in Marketing, Public Relations or similar. The successful applicant will need to have an engaging online manor/presence, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
