We’re looking for a Corporate Strategy Manager to join our high-performing team on a 0.6 FTE basis (3 days per week). This is a unique opportunity to lead and contribute to transformational growth initiatives and strategic planning that directly influence the future of OES.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Strategic Projects: Contribute to major strategic initiatives, —from building the analysis through to presenting the opportunity
- Annual Corporate Strategy: Play a key role in our annual strategic planning cycle, helping define priorities for the next financial year.
- Growth Exploration: Evaluate and shape opportunities to grow our business.
- Cross-Functional Strategy Support: Partner with teams across the business to support strategic initiatives and transformation efforts.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of trends in online education and identify emerging opportunities and risks.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complex problems, and can lead projects with confidence and clarity.
You’ll likely have:
- 5+ years in a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in-house corporate strategy team within a large, complex organisation.
- A strong strategic toolkit—problem structuring, hypothesis-driven thinking, and data-backed decision-making.
- Experience navigating ambiguity and working from a “blank sheet of paper.”
- Exceptional communication skills—able to influence senior stakeholders and craft compelling narratives.
- A collaborative, low-ego approach with a bias for action and outcomes.
- Experience in a non-advisory role where you’ve owned delivery is well regarded.
Why Join OES?
- Impact: Your work will directly shape the future of online education.
- Flexibility: 3 days per week and a hybrid model working from our Cremorne office and from home.
- Growth: Work on high-impact projects and collaborate with senior leaders.
- Culture: A values-led, student-focused organisation that embraces innovation and change.
