In this newly created role, you will report to the HR Manager and be a subject matter expert on all things HR, providing solid advice to your portfolio across a wide range of HR activities including employee relations, engagement, performance management, training and development and remuneration.
You will partner with the business on a broad range of HR policies and practices whilst working with line management groups to build and implement HR solutions in line with business needs, such as learning and development, employee relations, and recruitment, in addition to providing expert HR advice to managers in relation to employee issues.
Like all our superstars, you will be a driven and energetic professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills. You’re an ambassador for HR best practice, and love partnering with the business on all things HR. You love to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done. You hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment, and you have the confidence to take the initiative to solve problems and provide in-depth commercially balanced advice. You’re unquestionably a people person. A connector and influencer with exceptional interpersonal skills which assist you to build and maintain superior relationships and influence change and good decision making across the business.
You’ll also have:
- Experience at an Advisor or Consulting level (around 3+ years) but will also have plenty of room and desire to grow and develop
- Exposure to remuneration frameworks and/or benchmarking
- Experience and confidence coaching leaders across workplace/employee relations matters
- A good working knowledge of employment legislation & interpretation of awards including Work Health and Safety practices and legislation
- Experience and passion for Learning & Development – Bonus points!
- The ability to be a team player and not take yourself too seriously. You’ll be joining a team that is super supportive and loves a good laugh!
- Tertiary qualification in HR related field (or currently working towards)
