Reporting to Head of Enabling Technology, the Salesforce Platform Manager will join a team of passionate people who make an impact every day.

Salesforce Platform Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of OESs Salesforce platform with a view to align the OES strategy.

This role will work closely with key managers and stakeholders to ensure OES is deriving maximum benefit from the Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud platforms, ensuring the Data Warehouse is appropriately enabling the retention strategy.

Salesforce Platform Manager will work closely with the IT and Business Stakeholder to ensure projects/systems are transitioned into business as usual activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Managing and coordinating Salesforce staff, including workload management, task allocation and professional development.
  • Ownership and oversight of all aspects of the technical delivery, including technical and design decisions, third party applications, productivity, ways of working and quality control.
  • Work with key stakeholders to scope, plan resource and manage priorities with both business as usual activities and projects.
  • Manage key vendor relationships to ensure OES maximises platform capabilities and ensure platforms are supported appropriately.
  • Maintain awareness of potential areas for improvement, enhancement and upgrade by maintaining a good working knowledge of the Salesforce landscape and making recommendations.
  • Work with team to ensure project development adheres to agreed data strategy
  • Ensure alignment of Salesforce and Data Warehouse to enable OES Student personalisation strategy.
  • Enable the effective use of Marketing Cloud by ensuring the required data is available.
  • Develop where required, maintain, enforce and promote awareness of security policies, procedures and standards.
  • Ensure Salesforce related platforms adhere to agreed security standards and apply cyber security changes as required.
  • Input and support the evolution of OES IT roadmap
