International Student Recruitment Manager

In this newly created role, you will build and manage the international student recruitment function, including channel establishment, stakeholder relationship management, operations, and team leadership.

Your Impact:

Lead the function through formation and into scaled operations, key deliverables across two keys phases.

Phase 1 – Build

  • Identify and establish student recruitment channels (eg university agent networks, agent aggregators, social media)
  • Lead development of marketing approach and material
  • Lead development of sales / enrolment approach as needed
  • Build team as needed to support growth 

Phase 2 – Manage and grow

  • Manage and optimise channels based on performance, add new channels as they emerge and/or we expand into new source markets
  • Establish key performance metrics and develop reports for internal stakeholders
  • Refine marketing approach, lead development of new material as we add new partners
  • Grow and lead an efficient and effective team

 

Your Skills/Experience

  • Extensive experience of international student recruitment in source markets including China, Vietnam & Indonesia.
  • Deep understanding of student admissions processes
  • Strong marketing and promotion skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop systems and processes that support scale & growth
  • Team Leadership experience (managing international resources beneficial)
  • Commercial reasoning, modelling and strong numerical skills.
  • Comfortable working with universities to facilitate student transition into programs
  • Experience with UX centred design (web, contact centre, communications)
  • Comfortable working on a new and evolving product, contributing to the team’s strategic direction and initiatives.
