The role:

The Classroom Experience Manager is responsible for ensuring that the classroom technology we provide to our students provides the best possible learning experience for our students and staff. This ranges from conducting new learning technology evaluations, acting as a Product Owner providing the direction on changes to existing platforms and working closely with our IT team on projects that directly affect our learning technologies.


  • Utilise analytics, research, user feedback and other data sources to understand how students are using our learning technology platforms.
  • Gain insights and buy-in from stakeholders on priority areas for development of new learning technology solutions.
  • When identifying product elements which require change, scope environment and risks, consider change-management approaches and help obtain business buy-in for the change.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap for the Classroom Experience stream ensuring alignment to the Innovation roadmap and organisational strategic priorities.
  • Provide direction on new product development and existing product enhancements, acting as a Product Owner to the IT team.
  • Perform product evaluation, ensure impact of proposed changes are evaluated and results shared with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the IT team providing requirements and prioritising tasks on classroom experience projects and BAU for learning technologies.
  • Keep stakeholders and working group members informed on the Classroom Experience Roadmap.

About you:

  • Proven digital product experience, analysing and delivering improvements to improve the student experience.
  • Solid educational experience (e.g. product ownership/support of education technology, teaching, learning design)
  • Experience working with learning technology platforms or on technology projects as a business owner.
  • Demonstrated experience with stakeholder and/or change management.
  • Passionate about learning technologies and the ultimate student experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
