OES has appointed Andrea Burrows as Managing Director of its UK operations.
Online Education Services (OES) has appointed Andrea Burrows as Managing Director of its UK operations. Andrea brings more than 25 years of experience in management, sales, strategy, branding and marketing to the role and will spearhead OES’ launch in the UK.
Drawing on its depth of experience working successfully with Australian universities, OES intends to work with a small, select number of universities in the United Kingdom. Andrea will lead OES’s efforts in providing a broad range of services to UK university partners to design, develop and deliver high quality and scalable online programmes.
Denice Pitt, OES Chief Executive Officer, stated, “Andrea will bring great capability and experience to our UK operations. I am confident in her abilities to deliver our long-term mission of producing quality online education for our partners.”
In her previous role, Andrea worked as Managing Director of a UK top 20 design and build digital agency. The agency partnered with clients to define organisation-wide digital strategies, crafting mobile first digital experiences, building impactful brands and creating persuasive campaigns.
Listed in the Hot 100 in the CEO and Leaders category in 2017, Andrea will be an invaluable addition to the OES leadership team.
“I am looking forward to bringing the OES brilliance and team spirit to the UK, and to building a compelling offering in a booming ecosystem,” Ms Burrows says.
Prior to her appointment with OES, Andrea was instrumental in leading merger and acquisition processes for digital brands and management buyouts. She played a key role in taking a company from a UK-focused agency to the headquarters of a global network and grew the business to a top three in its sector. Andrea is currently the Industry Advisory Board Member for Digital Leadership at the University of Aberdeen.
Ms Burrows will commence her role on February 12, 2018.
